Hello,
I was wondering if I needed to have a CPA certificate in order to have my own Bookkeeping Business?

no, you do not and in my feelings it is better not to be a CPA.

I have been doing accounting for 12 years and took as a refresher course at UAC last year, and in my experience I would never become a CPA for the simple fact that I personally work with 2 or three that I send my clients that need a Certified Public Audit, with which I have had a few.

I like being just a Great Accountant! I would never want there job because too much undue stress they cannot do more anyway except the audit.

If I can be of any help please let me know.

thanks
