I am looking for an inexpensive tax software that can prepare C-Corp, LLC, and S-Corp tax returns. I have reviewed turbo tax software, their top of the line software can accommodate a sole proprietor only. Appreciate any advice. Thanks

| I have used Drake PPR for several years and the program seems to get better each year. The software provides access to all personal and most business returns, as well as all states. The cost before November 30 is $500 and includes 50 returns plus electronic filing is free. |

| Check into Intuit's ProSeries Professional Tax Program. You can prepare Personal(1040), Partnership(1065) and Corporation (1120 and 1120S) returns with the program. As you are probably aware Intuit also makes Turbo Tax. I believe the cost for the program is around $500. You can go to their website: www.proseries.com for more info. I have also received favorable comments from other tax preparers that use Taxact's professional program. |

Try Lacerte. It is expensive but they have pay-per-return to cut cost. It is the best tax software I ever used. Or try TaxAct preparer's edition to prepare only S Corp & LLC (they don't have C- Corp.). It is affordable. Turbotax is not for tax preparer's use. It is not licensed for that purpose.

Check out 21st Century Accounting program. One of the best software for small to medium size businesses. It adheres to true accounting principles. It is $ 795.00 http://www.hilbertsoft.com

| I am stating a new business, when you first buy proseries, do you have to pay to update it every year or is it a one time fee? |

Turbo Tax has a business edition. I have prepared both a LLC and a S-Corp returns with this package for 2002. Good luck.
