| How does one create a recurring Journal Entry in Quickbooks? I have the Accountant's Edition and for the life of me I see no way other than key punching in each entry to expense prepaid expenses. Also, is there a way to copy an existing JE to use as a model? Thanks for your input. Jack |

Create the General Journal Entry the way that you want to copy it, Press Ctrl+M to memorize it. You will be prompted to set it up as a recurring or just save for future use.
To see a list of the tranactions that you have memorized use Ctrl+T.
You can learn many other shortcuts and acctually complete the accounting for three companies with the manual UAC's Guide to QuickBooks. To learn more see www.knowquickbooks.com |
