Please let me know what is the difference between USA accounting principle and UK accounting principle?

If it is the same, why the companies are asking do you have the experience in USA?

May be the difference is preparing the payroll and taxes.

Peachtree and Quickbook, which software program is the most using in United States?

Thanks

The accounting principles are exactly the same. Payroll in the U>S> is different but that has nothing to do with accounting principles. Quickbooks has approximately 80% plus of market share.

Hi,

As far as I am aware, USA uses GAAP whilst the UK uses FRS and SSAP.

There are differences in the way items are processed, however I knew this 10 years ago and things could have changed.
