|
|
| Hello, I live in London (United Kingdom) and I am a qualified accountant. I studied for the ACCA exams. I have always worked in Commerce and Industry as either a Finance Analyst or a Management Accountant. I am looking to set up my own Accountancy service company as I am no more working and I really do not have a clue how to start. I would also like to know if there are similar universal accounting courses in the UK as well. Having gone through all the 4 models, it definitely is a very useful course and it would be useful in the uk as well. The only issues that I can think of that would be different would be tax and certain ways of reporting accounts. Please I need advice pretty quickly. |

Accounting in the UK is almost identical to the system used in the US. I understand the main difference is in presentation -- Fixed Assets are listed before Current Assets. Regarding taxes, I'm certain that your national taxing authority will provide some training for a small fee, or for free. Good luck.
