I am getting ready to start my bookkeeping business and am curious about additional services that can be offered to clients.
For example, here in Louisiana, offering notary services is big business, especially considering that getting a notary commission is more difficult here than in some other states. I am extremely computer proficient so I plan to also offer computer consulting and repair, and I know some businesses that outsource their word processing.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for services to offer? |

Todd,
Some of the other services you could offer would be taxes, payroll, small business loans, word processing and the like. Even if you do not do the taxes yourself you should affiliate yourself with someone who does do this. Having received the “Start today “ video from Universal Accounting, go back and review the last portion which discusses the different services that a Professional Bookkeeper could offer and why. Contact your coach at UAC and see if he has any additional suggestions. Good Luck.
