In Quickbooks when you fill in the information for an item that is inventory, it asks for the cost of the item. What do you do if the price of the item changes yearly? Should a new item be created each time the price goes up. The client wants to maintain the old prices as well as the new prices. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If the client wants 2 of the same item with different costs, he may need to create 2 items.
