Hi, I recently completed the course and currently I'm in the process of working my new business.

I have a few questions related to starting: 1.) In negotiating the fee calculation: The sale & cash receipts and the disbursments & purchase areas, what exactly are you having the client to perform? 2.) How do you work with a company that has always carried a income tax liability/expense? 3.) In preparing for the fist meeting, what type of info or materials should I bring with me. Should I have a script or presentation diagram available?
4.) Is there any reason why I shouldn't attempt to do the bookkeeping for a Church?

That's four questions, any help or advice will be appreciated. Thank you 3/19/05

The biggest caution in doing church books is to be familiar with payroll laws for churches. Might take some psychology to work out correctly. alot of churches like to do things differently than what is technically required.
