Quickbook was suggested as the best software to be used initially for Bookkeeping services. But I had a problem while printing W2s and 1099s as information was not getting printed within proper boxes of the forms. please comments

You are probably using an older version of QuickBooks, or you have not subscribed to the most recent payroll service.

Taj alignment is handled with
1099- align button , located in same screen as print 1099

W2 & W3 are aligned Click

File; Printer Setup;
Toggle in the top field located on the top of the screen "From Name:"______________ change to W2 or W3 and then use the align button; + or - to move data to correct position to fill boxes. Run a sample, the alignment will stay company to company, year to year, upgrade to upgrade only on the same printer year to year. But you must have the recent update to run 1099 and a recent payroll enrollment update to run W2 & W3

It's not you, there actually was a slight problem with the W-2, it was off ever so slightly on the bottom form (once you lined everything up). The 1099s were okay, but remember they are narrower and so you should make sure they were in your printer correctly.

You must align the forms to fit your printer. Go to the help menu..type in align 1099....and follow the directions.
