We have 4 different phone books in our area. What type of ads do most Accounting/Bookkeeping companies place. Is it worth the money? Should I just stick with a one line? Of course I have a cell phone as my business line and they want to charge me even for a one line listing, times that by 4 books and I'll be paying $300.00 per month just to be in the phone book. Any suggestions?

Kimberly,

I would use the most popular one in your area.
I placed an ad this year for the first time and it works really good.
A good friend of mine tells me he gets around 10% of his business out of the yellow pages.
The online one, I have one or two and I dont know, It doesnt seem to work as good as the yellow pages.

good luck.

Kimberly,

I had my best success by starting like I was taught in UAC's PB course. The letters I sent out were very effective but didn't cost alot at all. Good Luck.

Kimberly,

The biggest problem you are going to have is price of the advertising. If you can get a good price then you have t be concerned with what your ad says. If you want, email your ad to me and we can look at it to make suggestions. Good Luck
