I've come acroos an ad for an opportunity as a freelance bookkeeper. The business owner would like to see a resume. Should I send a standard resume? I feel that a resume is for someone looking for a job. As a business owner myself, is there something else that I should/could send in place of a resume or should I just send a resume?

Christine,
I was taught how to approach businesses that are wanting to hire someone but end up with a client which I did the work for out of my home. Universal Accounting's PB course and support were very useful in learning what to say and how to pitch my services. I replied and in the interview was able to make them a better offer. |
