Hello:
I am a UAC student and after becoming comfortable with the bookkeeping side of things I am just starting to think about a marketing strategy. The UAC website is a good start but to me - only bare bones. I think that something more sophisticated ( with more reference documentation, newsletters, and signup for freebies) is needed to create a more professional image.
While I am willing to invest in that, I am wondering if it is worth it or, if being a local accounting business – it makes no sense at all. Can someone share their thoughts, experiences?
Thanks
Alexandra

Alexandra,
The reality about websites are that business owners typically go to http://www.bookkeepinghelp.com to find an accountant or bookkeeper. I would not spend a ton of money on a fancy website. I would use that money for othermarketing things. I would suggest two things:
1 - Contact your UAC marketing coach 2 - Purchase a domain name so your current website and email cn have your business name. That shoudl cost about $15 / year. The name can be pointed at the current site. |
