Do small business owners know what PB means? Do they acknowledge and respect it?

Derdra,

Most business owners are unaware of any designation with the exception of CPA. They are just afraid of the price of a CPA and think that they just do taxes.

However, in all of my sales calls and aquiring wriet-up clients, when I explained that the PB designation means that I have been trained in small business accounting and that I help business owners lower their taxes, control their cash flow and increase their profits, they are interested in knowing how I can help them. Knowing that I have been trainied in small business accounting instead of corporate university training has been a great selling tool.
