| Is it ok to use a simple power point presentation when meeting new clients? Does anyone have any items or publications (other than the information and sample letters found in Module 4) that will assist in presentations and explaining services to new customers? |

Keira,
I have found that customers are not very concerned with a physical presentation. They want to discuss their situation and ask questions, especially if they are a new business owner. I use a three ring binder which holds, samples of any forms or documents I will be using as part of the service and sample financial statements and ledgers. I refer to the F/S and Ledgers when discussing what the customer will receive periodically as the "end product". I refer to the other documents to provide a visual, if needed, when answering the clients questions. Most times the most I show are the sample financial statments. Most experience business owners are familiar with the end product. They just want evidence that you are a knowledgeable and professional.
Hope this helps. |

Keira,
If you are a graduate of Universal Accounting Center, contact us and ask for te Sample Marketing CD. It is a CD made to teach you and sample the marketing presentation. For students, it is free. |
