At this point in my life I work fulltime and have two small children but love figures and have over 10 years of experience in bookkeeping. Manufacturing, farm and government.
I was just wondering if there's any small bookkeeping service that is looking for part-time help that I could do from my home via email, phone, fax etc?
If so please let me know and I'll forward further information to you. |

| Collette : If you are looking for part time employment I would suggest that you contact some of the temp agencies in your area. If you are wanting to be an employee i think it is going to be hard unless you are in the general location of the employer. Why not consider contracting out on a part time basis??? |

Collette,
You are better prepared than I am to become a part-time bookkeeper. I have finished my certification, but most of my experience has been with one type of business. I have listed with a temp agency to garner more experience in different fields as well as gain contacts and self-confidence. The agency has been wonderful, though it's been a little slow because I only want to work 2-3 days a week. You may have to travel, but if you want to work on a temp basis until you get your own clients, this may be the way to go. Good Luck. Dana |
