Maybe someone can give me some thoughts on combining 2 businesses under 1 fed id #. I have a small printing business it is a c corp. I am now starting a bookkeeping and tax prep business. Both businesses will be located in the same location. share phones, faxes, copiers computers etc. Also if I add staff to the bookkeeping company I already have ADP for the print shop. They are both, business service companies and are targeting the same customers. I would like to operate the Bookkeeping service as a DBA under the Corp.
Any reason this might not be a good idea?
All thoughts appreciated.

I have just one question. Which business would pay for the extra stength
tylenol you will take for the BIG headache you would be creating.
Keep them separate. If your concerned about liability get insurance and if your state is LLC friendly become a LLC for the bkkpg. business. |
