|
|
| I am meeting with my first client soon. I don't have any experience, but he knows that. He wants to hire me because of my attention to detail and organizational skills, I'm also pursuing a degree in Accounting. My problem is that I don't know IF I should charge him at least the first month until I get my feet wet. I feel like he is doing me a huge favor by allowing me to gain experience in something I love to do (taxes and numbers) therefore, I should not charge him until I'm trained. Any feedback is welcomed. |

Robin: Let me Ask You something. Is your education free? Of course not. If you have some
acctg training, are good with numbers, pay attentiom to detail, ands get along with people, you should charge for these qualities. You might
want to see if your future clients CPA might take
you under his/her wing. |
