| I have a client who started open his business in January, however, he has start-up expenses in December and I'm not sure how to journalize his start-up expenses. For example, the electrical service deposit, travelling expense, etc. Any feedback is appreciated. |

Robin True startup expenses amortized over a 60
month period starting with the start of business.
Since they are intangibles they would show in the other asset section |
