Hi.
We currently use Quickbooks 2001. We want to change our current system to provide our clients with remote access. What QB software is out there that can offer the following:
Full accounting system
Remote access for our company and for our clients

I know that there is a software made by QB that allows the company to be in the clients QB while the client is also in the same QB program. The company can move the cursor while the client see the cursor moveing and visa-versa.
What program is this.
We have over 200 clients and 2001 is just not working for us.
Please respond...and please help

It may be QuickBooks Premier, Accountant's Edition 2003. They include 12 months of free remote access. But I do not know if the client would actually "see" you working with this arrangement. A separate remote access software such as pcAnywhere 11.0 could provide that for you (and would be much cheaper once the free period runs out). I used 8.0 several years ago and was pretty happy with it. Although, if you plan to transfer files back an forth, you'll likely need DSL if you plan to keep your sanity. That is precisely why I upgraded to DSL. Spending 45 minutes transferring my 10 meg QB file over long distance dial-up lines, only to have it disconnect just before completing...not pleasant!
