Hello...someone has asked me to help them streamline their manual accounting practices by incorporating better use of software. At the moment, she has seven clients and works in four different currencies (USD, CHF, GBP, Euros), which she is converting by hand and entering into an Excel spreadsheet.

My initial thought was to get Excel to do a quick mathematical conversion, but it turns out that she actually needs a bit more than that, and I was wondering if Quicken can cope with it (it's been years since I've used any accounting software).

If anyone can recommend a solution to her needs, I'd be really grateful. The requirements she's mentioned so far:
- timesheet intergration with invoicing in different currencies
- an expense report that allows multiple currency entries (so if a client pays her in USD, she can produce her expenses in USD)
- intergration with a PalmPilot (so that when she's on the road, she can update the PalmPilot copy of her data for the hours she's spending with clients, then upload it when she gets home, saving her having to enter the same information twice)

Thanks,
Wendy.

Canadian QuickBooks can handle multiple currancy. I am not very versed in it though. If her Palm is windows based, she might be able to get the QB timer to work for her billing, but this is more of a guess.
