Hi All,
I've got a new marketing technique that I'd like to employ; its an attempt to use surveys to attract clientele to my free classes (as per our UAC course).
I'm in the process of trying to hire a high school student, but wanted to know if there are any telemarketing companies that you know of, that deals with very small businesses, with moderate budgets.
Thanks in advance

There are many companies that specialize in 3rd party calling that are local, regional or national but one thing that you may want to consider is taking advantage of the Client Generator program offered by UAC.
For more information regarding the Client Generator program go here

Hi Roger,
Thanks for the reply. I actually attended the Marketing Course last year and the Client Generator was discussed at length.
You guys have given me all the training that I need to successfully market my practice and now I'm ready to move forward, but before making my final decision, I need to perform some due diligence. The Client Generator is quite expensive and I want to do comparison shopping (not just pricing but services) before making my final decision.
So I'm looking for specificity from this group. Are there 3rd party vendors that anyone has used to do their telemarketing? Did/do you find the telemarketing services helpful in contacting your target market? Did you find the ROI reasonable? |

Marc,
I'm contemplating doing some telemarketing done via a third party myself. I'm curious, what did you find in your research (if you don't mind sharing)? I have used buyerzone and was referred a few folks but am still on the fence as it may end up being more than I can afford right now.
hope to hear from you,
Joyce |

| I used a temp. When I compared prices, I found that I was able to save a tremendous amount of money (about 1/3 of the estimated costs of going with an outside telemarketer). I was fortunate to get someone who had done telemarketing before and they were very effective in filling my classes. I hope this helps. |

Thanks Marc for the speedy reply. It does help a lot. I may look into hiring a virtual assistant of some sort to fill the position temporarily.
Never really thought of it this way... genuinely helps! |

Marc,
Congratulations, i am glad that you were able to get it done. Did you get what you expected as a result? (IS... How many clients resulted?)

Interns or High school students will probably be better than outside telemarketing companies. If you are willing to put up with the training/turnover of hiring these individuals. They will probably be more motivated and will be able to understand the client and business better.
On the flip side, outside companies will probably push more calls/hour. Since your campaign seems to be easily scripted and not to involve complex interaction a telemarketing company would also be a good choice. |

Hey David, I'm working on that. I did get a box at the UPS Store. Updated my website. Have done a few calls with potential clients... so I'm getting there.
Thanks for the encouragement!
