| How soon did you start your marketing? Did you start while still working on your training or did you start after you were finished? |

| You can start as fast as you choose. Most of all.... Do not put it off, just get started. |

I personally didn't start my marketing until I had finished the training course. Then, I waited a little longer so I could get my logo and stationery designed, and my business cards made up. I wanted to have a professional appearance to give me a little more credibility and make a good impression. This is obviously not necessary for everyone. However, I have been happy with my decision. While it did cost a little more money, I think it will pay off in the long run.
Another thing: I didn't follow the 12-step marketing process described in Module 4 of the PB system. I decided that it wouldn't really work for me, simply because I don't have a network of friends and family to rely on. Instead, I came up another alternative...networking. I joined 3 local chambers of commerce as well as LeTip (www.letip.com), a networking group, which has been extremely successful for me and I would recommend it to anyone.
Good luck in all your endeavors and let me know if you'd like anymore guidance! :P |
