|
|
| I am confused by which software I want to purchase, Quickbooks or Medlin Accounting Software. I only have 1 client (I work full-time)and he writes his own checks, forwards all invoices, receipts to me to post. I don't find where Quickbooks is a good writeup software. I would like to create a Cash Receipts and Cash Disbursements Journal. Medlin Accounting Software looks like what I'm looking for, but I've seen anyone talk about it on any of the message boards I'm a part of. When and if I start printing the checks for my client, would I be able to use both softwares. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. |

| They're both good software programs. Medlin is designed as a writeup software, but less friendly to the non-accountant. QuickBooks has some analytical tools that put most software programs to shame such as the reconciliation and drill-down capability. Remember, that all accounting software is following the same model that was created 500 years ago by Fra Luca Pacioli. They're just doing it with different looking screens, menus, and extra bells and whistles. |
