I am having problems understanding how to do 1065's and K-1's according to the problems in Module 6 session 2 in the PTP course. I understand some of it, but when they come to the AMT things for the depreciation and all that, I don't understand how they came to that figure. I want to be able to do these, but I need help understanding these, so I can get these right.

I looked in the answer key for each one of these forms and they came up with figues that I don't understand how they got even after reading the directions on how to fill out 1065's and K-1's. Can anyone help?

Also, is there any way to understand how to do this and do it the way it's supposed to be?

Just call your tax support coach. They are great at explaining the ins and outs.
