| What would be the best accounting software to use for small business? Please recommend. I have been reading reviews and now I'm confused to which is which and what is best to use. I want a software that is easy to use and will simplify my small business accounting tasks, and will provide all the reports I need for financial data. |

I was in the same situation recently. After much research, I decided to go with QuickBooks Pro 2007. Mostly because it is the most utilized accounting software.
I am satisfied with my choice.

| What type of business are you in? Do you have employees? Do you do time tracking? Do you have an inventory? What are the capabilities of your computer system? How many individuals will be using the software? These are just some of the questions that need to be answered before making a selection |

I have a bookkeeping business. I am a sole proprietor, but I have clients that use all of what you need in QB pro 2007 and seem to be happy with it. You can buy extra user license for QB if needed. Have you looked at the Intuit website?
I did monsterous researchs: checked out different forums to see what others where using, several different search engines for the type of software utilized for my business, and checked locally for what others where using.
I also did a search for my type of business in other states and went to their websites to see what they were using.
These all were very informative and that is how I arrived at my decision.
My OS is Vista Business and I have not had any problems using QB with it. I was kind of reluctant to go with this after reading all the hype against it, but I am very satisfied with it. We all must get used to changes in the computer world.
