Would this course help me in landing an entry level job in book keeping in the US?
I have my degree in accounting (foreign) but i passed way back in '98 and i do not have work knowledge in Accounting.
Currently i have been desperately trying to get into some entry level accounting job but employers dont even call me for interviews.
Would the Book keeping course really help getting a job in Accounting?
Further, Universal advisors claim job support to Universal students ..is that true and if yes to what extent??
Request some information on this.
Thanks in advance.

Hello DEAA,
The Professional Bookkeeping course is the best preparation you can get for either a job doing bookkeeping or in working for yourself. In fact, many business purchase our training for their employees. You will learn to do the full accounting and bookkeeping process long hand and then you can learn to do it in QB with our PBG program.
next, the forth module not only assists those who want to work for them self get started but Chapter three of the fourth module is specifically on resume building and how to get a job in accounting.
Depending on the offer you get, you may get up to 6 months of coaching that is email or phone access. There is no limit to the amount of coaching you can recieve but you have to initiate it.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. david@universalaccounting.com
Regards,
Dave |

Universal has as part of its follow-up support a "Job Placement Assistance Support" program that students are eligable for.
It specifically involves:
Resume Preparation - Assistance via email in the review and development of a resume for the purpose of securing interviews.
Resume Placement Assistance - Helping to identify possible employers and accounting-related positions by following a weekly routine.
Interviewing Technique Review - Role play advice and suggestions to improve the success or interviewing opportunities.
In short it is a tried and proven process that helps students find employment opportunities quicker than normals as they follow and implement the steps taught.
Having personally worked with students as they used the program I can say that it works and really does make a difference.
