| In our accounting office we need a new payroll software. We are using AME but want one with a better advantage to all the payroll company competitors. Which other ones are there out there. There are about 30 clients currently and we are expanding very quickly. |

| What do you use for your general ledger program? I've used QB Enhanced Payroll for Accountants (allows 50 EINs on one subscription) and I like it. It allows you to integrate with the QB data file--especially important if you want to do job costing in QB. |

Have you looked at an online solution offered by AccountantsWorld? They have a pretty good payroll program called Payroll Relief. Their business model is structured to have the Accountant be the initiator of the product. They handled the ACH transactions for Direct Deposit, Federal and State Payroll Taxes and 401K fundings. To your client, they merely enter the time card info, update employee records, initiate the processing and print their own reports. You bill your client for the use of the service and AccountantsWorld Bills you. The minimum flat fee (for less than 10 employees is $9.95 per month Up to 50 employees it is $1.00 per check after that it works out to 50 cents per check.
I'm trying to recall the costs off the top of my head. With Payroll Relief, it is a web based product and you as the Accountant control the access and will be able to monitor your clients work 24/7. |
