Hi

My partner is starting a web based business whereby users pay a fee to become a member. These payments may be made monthly or annually.

These payments will be made online via paypal and credit card.

Does anyone have any ideas about suitable accounting software for this type of business?
Or is it possible to get a bespoke package to intergrate with the website?

Thanks :D

MYOB Accounting software has ODBC available (open data base conectivity) so a developer can develop a link between the MYOB accounting package and your website database to integrate them. Alternatively if you can get your website to produce a text file that lists the payments and few other details this file could be imported into MYOB by the user say on a monthly basis.

QuickBooks is a great accounting program that is used by 85-90% of the small businesses. You can import the paypal and credit card transactions into QB as well.
