Hello all:
Does anyone out there have any ideas about how a newsletter (or an e-letter) could look to send to prospective and current clients? Maybe a sample you could send me? I have been trying for months to get a prospect to meet with me to set up her bookkeeping and she needs it badly, but I have been having a hard time contacting her by phone and e-mail and she keeps saying she'll call me or send me an e-mail but it hasn't happened yet. My coach suggested sending her a periodic newsletter to keep her attention, so whatever it takes, I guess.
Any suggestions appreciated greatly
Thanks

How badly do you want this client?
Overnight a business proposal - nothing intense. Consider it a resume - be short and to the point. Include an invitation to lunch to discuss how you can help to improve her profitability and eliminate her headache of having to take care of the bookkeeping. If nothing else, that would certainly get her attention - something she soon wouldn't forget.

Hie Bill,
It is a good idea to send information or a news letter to this potential client. If you see a client dragging feet and taking sweet time. That shows that no matter how much you want to help they are not yet ready for the help. Chances are you will have problems to get paid. I had a bad experience when showed how desparate I needed a client. There are a lot of potential clients whom you do not have to loose sleep. Keep on doing your marketing.

There are several easy to use products available for managing newsletters. These can rather expensive if you want all of the bells and whistles. You could set up a quick and easy text version of a newsletter just using your standard email client.
Set up the intended recipients as a "group" and blind copy them when you send out the email. Good luck! |
