I have enaged with a client to put together a bank & Financing Proposal and am using the templte and Guidelines supplied to me from UB "Financing a Small Business". The questio I have is how much do you charge for the service.
My client is a home based remodeling company that is buying a Franchise and requires a meeting with the bank
Thanks

I will tell you that I just did one for $2400.00, I had to do some extra accounting work in it that I would estimate to about $400.00, but then I did not have to do the presentation.
Also, I require 50% up front, and the balance is due when the work is complete. I suggest that you get Debit / Credit card information, so when your work is done you just charge the client for the package. Please make sure that your pricing and payment details are spelled out on your letter of engagement. I have found too often that the client wants the work done, then if they cannot get the financing, you can be stuck trying to get paid. |
