Iam planning to start a bookkeeping service and am ready to buy quick books software. The more I want to learn about Quick books the more confused I am. I saw some of the websites of other bookkeepers , who are offering direct access of thier books to their clients at a low monthly fees. If this is something that gets more clients, I may go for this. Will some one let me know about this ?
How about Quick books advisor ? What is that ?
Please tell me.
thank you |

If you want to offer QuickBooks Online it will cost a bit more than they advertise. There's subscription and high-speed connection costs that they typically don't mention. I will say, however, that it is the way of the future. We will just have to get use to the higher fees, which we will in time.
The QuickBooks Professional Advisor is a designation sponsored by Intuit. It gives you the software, regular emails, and a bucket load of additional mail. They also add you to their online list, although rarely does a person seek their accountant online. I use the designation simply for marketing purposes (it looks good on my business card). |
