Hi there,
I'm wondering what kind of things other bookkeepers do when delivering their work to their clients. I'm trying to establish some professional standards for myself, and although it seems meaningless, I think that the presentation of completed work is very important.
For example, financial statments stapled together and put loose in a folder?
disclaimers for not being certified accountants? Letterheads?
It sounds silly but I think around here it would definately be a small step in staying ahead of the competition.
any thoughts?
thanks |

I try to keep it simple.
When I get a new client I send them a loose-leaf binder. I customize it with "Financial records for "Compay Name" prepared by my company name, and phone number.
Then each month I when I deliver ther financial package it is 3 hole punched with a divider to mark the month. I plance it in the binder and go over their number with them.
At the end of the year I ampth the binder into a folder and start new!
Simple, inexpensive, and looks great!
Hope that this helps.
