I work for a software company and we are scoping out how we deliver multi-currency in our product which while it has localised versions does not currently allow multicurrency transactions to be entered.
So for those that use the multicurrency feature of their current package, what do you like about it and what do you think could have been done better?
For instance how many of you maintain native for-ex bank accounts vs just converting for-ex to your local currency as it is received?
Do you hedge your exchange rate?
How important are currency gains/losses and what steps do you take as a business to manage it? What tools would help?
Thanks to anyone who responds! |

| We maintain a separate USD and Rupee account for our export / import business located in India. All our foreign (USD) remittence is made to USD account. We then either make payment in USD or transfer to Rupee account as as when needed. |
