Hi everyone.

I have a quick question in regards to claiming fuel money in the UK.
I am a director of a limited company and drive from home to my office everyday which is a total of around 50 miles total. I use my own car for travel and would like to know if I can claim the mileage of 40p per mile?
I was told that I cannot claim mileage when driving from my home address to office address.
Any help on this will be great.

Thanks
Samantha

You where told correctly. The commute to and from the office are not considered a business expense.
