Hi everyone.
I have a quick question in regards to claiming fuel money in the UK.
I am a director of a limited company and drive from home to my office everyday which is a total of around 50 miles total. I use my own car for travel and would like to know if I can claim the mileage of 40p per mile?
I was told that I cannot claim mileage when driving from my home address to office address.
Any help on this will be great.
Thanks

| You where told correctly. The commute to and from the office are not considered a business expense. |
