We're having a problem at work determing how to figure sales discounts. For example if we a have a sale of $3000- "2/10, n/30. After taxes the sale is $3210. So the debate we're having is determing if it's 2% of $3000 or $3210 and if it's for the subtotal should we exclude the taxes for the amount discounted.

jUST REMEMBER IF THE TAX IS 210.00 THAT IS WHAT THE STATE IS GOING TO EXPECT REGARDLESS OF WHEN YOUR CLIENT PAYS. TAXES ARE NEVER DISCOUNTED
