DeNise. I have a BS in accounting and business and operate my own tax business. I am currently working on the course am very happy with it. As far as accredidation: if you finish the course, and score %90 of higher, you will receive the certification, PB ( professional bookeeper). I don't know how widely recognized it is, because one can only recieve it through Universal. Good luck and if your interested in learning tax prep, and making $3000 to $2000 next tax season, working from your home, get back with me!

Charlie,
I have taken the Jackson Hewitt tax course in the 2003 tax year but then worked for Liberty Tax Service last year. The owner of Liberty has asked me to return this year. I am interested in working from home however. I would be interested in what you can tell me about your business.
Thanks
Carolyn |

Carolyn I read that you worked for Liberty Tax and took the Jackson Hewitt training. Can you please talk some more about your experience in this Company. I have worked for H&R Block but I was interested in the liberty tax because of the opportunities they have of owning a franchise.
feel free to e-mail me with your expreriences.
Thanks |
