Question:
In order to avoid hiring someone as an employee, can a LLC organized as a partnership, give an employee a 10% stake in the company, making them a partner/member, verses an employee? Would access cash distributions be handled as Guaranteed payments? What entrys would be recorded for the access distributions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Check with an attorney -- from an accounting and payroll perspective there are no problems with what you're suggesting. |
