| Some states list new sales tax permits issued on their websites with names and addresses. I plan to start mailing to the ones in my area. But I'm having trouble coming up with a suitable letter. Do you have any suggestions on how to word it? |

| Too often, we accountants write a letter trying to impress the prospective client by all of our degrees, awards, and activities. Most clients aren't swayed by any of these. Instead the client is interested in how you will help their business prosper. Show them how you plan to do that. There are some terrific articles at this site that can lead you through that process. |
