As 2014 approaches, Companies and their software vendors scramble for change in so many things. This will not only cost the companies and their vendor money but will also place a great deal of pressure on their finance and IT personnel.
Many ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) softwares that are in place were all built to reflect the current American GAAP. This then implies that a lot of changes to templates will have to be made to cater for this. Also a lot of training will take place between now and 2014.
Do you think that this adoption of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) in America will affect other parts of the world that use softwares produced by American softwares vendors?.......And do you think it will affect companies investment in Information Technology?
If yes to the above questions how?
